The death of Habib Juárez Castellanos, a 43-year-old taxi driver who was murdered on April 26, 2026, has caused deep shock in the digital community, especially after Ruthi San confirmed that her brother died several weeks ago.
Although the 40-year-old content creator did not reveal her brother’s name, social media users quickly connected both cases, as they share the same last name. Additionally, Ruthi mentioned that his death is still under investigation and that, for the moment, she will not provide further details.

Habib Juárez Castellanos, a 43-year-old man residing in the Loma Linda neighborhood, worked as a driver for the rental unit marked with the economic number 1402.
The taxi driver was found dead on April 26, with several bullet wounds inside a taxi on the road leading to the community of Juana Moza, in the municipality where he resided.
The case remains in the hands of the authorities, after his family filed the corresponding complaint to clarify the motive of the crime.
Habib Juárez also had a presence on social media. On Instagram, a platform where he was followed by Ruthi San, he had around 2,000 followers and kept his profile private. However, on Threads, he shared parts of his daily life, outings, and photographs of restaurants.
So far, Ruthi has not publicly confirmed that Habib Juárez Castellanos is her brother; however, users’ accounts on social media have strengthened this theory.

On May 18, Ruthi San decided to break the silence following speculation on social media and confirmed that she is in mourning for the death of her brother, who passed away several weeks ago.
The YouTuber explained that her brother was two years older than her and that he was her only brother. Additionally, she revealed that this was the reason why she temporarily distanced herself from social media.
A few weeks ago, my brother passed away, and that’s why I disappeared from social media,” he expressed.
In the same way, she thanked all the people who cared for her and her family during this difficult time. She also mentioned that, despite the pain they are going thru, her parents are strong and united.
Thi highlighted that she recently returned to Mexico after having taken care of her parents and her nephews. Likewise, she confessed that returning to Japan has been emotionally complicated, as she feels lonelier despite living with her husband and children.
The death of Ruthi’s brother is still under investigation.
In the midst of her pain, Ruthi explained that she couldn’t go into many details about her brother’s death, as the case is still under investigation.
“I don’t want to go into too much detail about what happened because there are still many things under investigation and I wouldn’t like to go into detail,” he commented.
