Jennifer Coolidge and Nicole Scherzinger have joined the cast of Rebel Wilson‘s new movie!
Last month, it was announced that Rebel, 45, will be writing, directing, producing, and starring in the new musical comedy titled Girls Group.
On Friday (October 24), Rebel announced that the 64-year-old White Lotus actress and the 47-year-old former Pussycats Dolls member will star alongside her in the project.

In Girl Group, Rebel will play “a pop diva who’s been kicked out of her own girl group’s reunion tour and slapped with a sentence of court-ordered community service. She seizes this to stage a comeback by coaching a group of misfit teen girls for a major record label audition,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Previously announced cast members include Randall Park, Sheridan Smith, Jamie Lee O’Donnell, Guz Khan, Jolene Blalock, and Loren Gray. Pussycat Dolls‘ Ashley Roberts, Spice Girls‘ Melanie Chisholm and All Saints’ Shaznay Lewis will play the girlband “Girlfriends” alongside Rebel’s character.
Girl Group will mark the second movie directed by Rebel.
