George Clooney has the support of some of his closest friends on a very important night!
The 64-year-old Oscar-winning actor was joined by wife Amal and some of his pals at the 2026 Chaplin Awards Gala on Monday night (April 27) at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
The Chaplin Award Gala is Film at Lincoln Center’s major annual fundraiser, with all proceeds going to support our nonprofit organization’s mission to celebrate cinema as an essential art form and foster a vibrant home for film culture to thrive.
George was honored for “his multifaceted career as an actor, director, and producer, as well as for his global humanitarian work and reputation for humility, quick wit, and personal integrity.”
Speaking at the event were Sam Rockwell, Julianna Margulies, John Turturro, and Stephen Colbert. Also in attendance were George‘s longtime bestie Richard Kind and Julianna’s husband Keith Lieberthal.
It was recently revealed that George was on the list of the 20 highest-paid actors of 2026 and we also learned how much money he made for his Broadway run last year.
