At one point, his podcast cohost Sophie Cunningham asked if West had reached out to any of his Summer House costars, but he said not everyone has responded to his text messages.
“Which is to be expected and I get it,” he said. “That’s the hardest part I think with this whole situation is my actions have hurt people that I care about. But the reunion’s coming up and I can give those apologies face to face and also clear up all of the crazy s–t that’s been on the internet.”
On the other hand, while Ciara had maintained relative silence in the wake of Amanda and West’s joint statement about their burgeoning romance on March 31, she recently addressed the situation.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” she told Glamour in an interview published April 17. “To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It’s a major mindf–k.”
Because indeed, while the West and Amanda drama is playing out in real time, Summer House’s season 10—filmed last summer—is currently airing on Bravo. And on it, West and Ciara seemed like they were finally reconciling after a tumultuous post-breakup period.
