Buffy the Vampire Slayer is largely considered one of the best shows ever made, with an undeniable influence on modern-day television.

The Joss Whedon-created supernatural series first debuted back in March of 1997 on The WB, running for seven seasons, and moving to UPN for its final two seasons before ending in May of 2003.

A rebooted version was planned for Hulu with a pilot order, but it unfortunately got canceled in early 2026.

The original show follows Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), the latest in a line of “Slayers” – women who are chosen to fight against vampires, demons and other evil forces.

With the help of her Watcher, who guides and teaches her, as well as a group of close friends dubbed the “Scooby Gang,” Buffy takes on the battle to save the world again, and again, and again.

Over the years, many of the cast members have gone on to achieve incredible things, including other hit TV franchises and films, and amassing large sums of money. We’ve rounded up the main cast and ranked them according to estimated net worth.
