Adrian Grenier is opening up for the first time about being left out of The Devil Wears Prada 2.
The former Entourage actor starred alongside Anne Hathaway in the first movie as Andy’s boyfriend Nate, who was universally hated by most of the viewers.
Throughout the movie, Andy and Nate’s relationship was on a downward spiral as her job consumed her life, which he couldn’t accept. They eventually broke up after Andy showed up late for Nate’s birthday party due to a work obligation. At the end of the movie, Andy and Nate agreed to be friends and he moved to Boston for a new job. She ended up quitting her Runway job.
Andy has a new love interest in the sequel and Adrian is breaking his silence on Nate being left out of the film.

“We’re all fans of the movie, whether or not we’re in it. Obviously, it was a disappointment that I didn’t get the call to be in the sequel, but I also understand there’s some backlash with Nate, the character, so that might have something to do with it,” Adrian told Page Six. “But I think that just leaves room for a spinoff.”
“Either way, it’s a disappointment,” he added, “Either way, it leaves room for a beautiful spinoff in which Nate has his own film.”
Adrian reacted to the Nate hate back in 2021.
