Euphoria‘s Sam Levinson has made a generous donation to the GoFundMe set up for Eric Dane‘s daughters.

Following the actor’s death on February 19 at age 53 following a battle with ALS, friends set up a campaign to support his daughters Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14.

It has now been revealed that Sam – who created the HBO series Euphoria, which Eric starred on – and his wife Ashley have donated $27,000 to the GoFundMe.

Following news of Eric‘s devastating death, Sam released a statement, saying, ““I’m heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Eric. Working with him was an honor. Being his friend was a gift. Eric’s family is in our prayers. May his memory be for a blessing.”

Eric filmed scenes for the upcoming season of Euphoria prior to his death. Season three is scheduled to premiere on HBO on April 12. Watch the trailer here.
