TMZ reports that investigators believe the kidnapped lives in the Tucson, Arizona area.
They’ve come to this conclusion based on details in the ransom notes and how the kidnapper has sent the notes to prominent local TV stations in Tucson. The outlet’s sources “believe the person who wrote the ransom note was very familiar with the local stations … so much so that it leads them to believe the Tucson area is the abductor’s home.”
Investigators also believe Nancy is within a 700-mile radius of Tucson as the kidnapper has promised to return her within 12 hours of receiving the ransom.
Law enforcement has explained why it took so long for police to uncover the surveillance photos.
